About
The Communications Officers work out of the Public Safety Building, under the direction of the Police Chief. They:

* receive and dispatch all emergency calls for police, fire, and the emergency medical service
* monitor fire and burglar alarms
* answer calls for the highway, light, and water departments after regular office hours or when the departments are not staffed
